Yes, MDA is constantly seeking and offering a wide variety of educational programs for all divisions.
What type of educational events does your GMO offer?
In 2019, we held the new test symposium lead by Lois Yukins, and we offered monthly member-only free sessions ranging from sports psychology and goal planning for the dressage rider, to first aid and barn fire safety. We wrapped the year with an all-day educational series with a large variety of guest speakers. In 2020, we are hosting the USDF Trainers Certification Workshops and Pre-Cert. We are offering auditing spots. We also host our annual dressage boot camp, open to members only but for all ages. It is a fun and educational way to shake the winter cobwebs and get the season stated.
What type of “fun” events does your GMO offer?
Aside from the spring boot camp, we host a banquet each year and sponsor a meet-and-greet party at the Great Lake Regional Schooling Show.
