What is your committee’s mission? 

To promote the pursuit of excellence in dressage judging. 

How long have you been on this committee?  

Since 2010

How long have you been the committee chair?  

Since 2012

How did you get involved in the sport of dressage?   

Came to dressage for help with hunters/jumpers.

How did you get involved with USDF?   

Through competition and the L Program.

How did you get involved in the committee?  

I was asked.

What is your favorite part of being involved with this committee?   

The opportunity to work together with other experts in our sport. 

What unique qualifications made you an expert in the committee’s area? 

Training and judging.

What has been your committee’s greatest accomplishment, or what do you hope to accomplish during your tenure?   

Developing continuing education for judges.

Please share a little bit about yourself and your background.  

A life of teaching and training, later judging to include 3 Olympic Games and 5 World Cup Finals.

Do you currently compete in dressage, or have you competed in the past?  

In the past.

What horse impacted your love for the sport the most?  

My Danish mare “Suna”, who I trained and competed in Europe.  We won a team Bronze Medal at the 1994 World Games.
