  1. Sign up for a clinic, a set of lessons, or a ride-a-test learning opportunity. This is fun and it puts a little bit of pressure on to ride through the weather. Find an indoor to trailer to and check it out. Make sure you take a weekly lesson during the winter. This helps keep your mood up, and the horses love it. Try not to get stressed when the weather is not agreeable to riding. Remember that it is good for the horses to play and relax in the snow. The colder weather helps reduce any swelling or heat in their muscles. Ride on safe, dirt roads if you have one nearby. I love to work on easy alignment exercises on our cul-de-sac. Let the perfectionism go! You can get through it😊
