Best ever owner, Connie Duff Wise, and best ever groom, Sadé Cain #teamDaphne #teamOrange
We recently asked our social media followers to share a photo of the people who help them achieve their riding goals – the ones there for them rain or shine – from trainers, the friends who come to cheer them on, family or grooms, to their vet and farrier, and anyone else who works behind the scenes so that they and their horse can shine in the show ring. Who is on your team?!

Our trainer is a USDF bronze silver and gold medalist. She trains with Scott Hassler and Reese Koffler Stanfield. She has Reese come in on a regular schedule to help get a second pair of eyes on us. Jessica came up through the ranks of young riders and has worked for Lenden Grey, Alice Tarjan and Reese Koffler Stanfield. She’s an amazing leader who fosters empathy, perseverance and excellence in us and our horses. The horses well being and our safety are always first. This is not our whole team. Jessicas amazing assistant/ groom Anne is not in the picture as well as my amazing leaser Minia Hellan and Jessicas hubby Ethan Gaston. There are at least 3 other riders not present and of course our amazing horses! I adore our team! – Valerie T.-G.My team rides with Jenny Foss at White Fences Equestrian Center. We just had a local rated show where we brought 13 different horse and rider pairs! First time showers to seasoned veterans. Jenny and White Fences have created a family experience under a classical dressage mindset that is very special in today’s world! My personal horse had a terrible injury 15 months ago and this is our second show back. This picture embodies our team as they cheer for us after our second level debut. Everyone feels and supports each other’s triumphs and challenges and they deserve to be highlighted for this special passion for both people and horses! – Maxime G.My sister Megan Gilker Thomas, my mother Kathy Gilker and I with CA Destiny Gro “Des” at 24 years old. Have shared my love of horses with them from the very beginning! As a team, with all our husbands, we take care of 8 horses and our family farm. 😊💜 Photo by Meg McGuire of Meg McGuire Photography – Jessica GH(L-R) Kathy Gilker, JAG Kalico Kid, me, my husband Ken Ho, JAG Khalahari, Megan Gilker Thomas, Bradley Thomas Photo by Meg McGuire of Meg McGuire Photography – Jessica GHSubmitted by Nancy B.
