I have been riding American Saddlebreds in the saddle seat discipline since 2008. I graduated from Morehead State University (MSU) in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Media Production with a minor in Photography. During part of my time in undergraduate school, I was on the saddle seat team and served as their team captain for a while. I then went on to graduate from MSU in 2021 with a Master of Arts in studio art. Post-graduate, I was an adjunct professor within the Art Department at MSU. In June 2023, I rescued a 20-year-old Saddlebred whom I had shared a strong bond with during my time at MSU, Lady, and she now lives an extremely spoiled life in retirement. I met my husband during my freshman year of college, and we have six cats and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi together.
