Job title: USDF Competitions Director
What is your main task in the office?
To manage all facets of the Competitions Department.
Members may call you concerning:
Anything from awards, to show management, to the various USDF championship programs, to any general competition-related questions.
How long have you been with USDF?
I started in May 2002.
How did you get started?
I worked in the Thoroughbred industry before I came to USDF, but I had dressage knowledge and experience. At that point, my life was changing, and I wanted to take an office job.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy interacting with fellow dressage enthusiasts around the country. I also very much enjoy traveling for USDF, as I then get the opportunity to meet people face-to-face.
What is your favorite part of USDF?
Being immersed in the dressage industry.
Share a little about yourself.
I am from Canada, and came to Kentucky after university to work in the Thoroughbred industry. I have an off-track Thoroughbred (OTTB), with whom I compete in dressage at Prix St. Georges. I am happily married and have one cat.
