FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Because All Arenas Are Not Created Equal
Aug. 13, 2025 – Devon, Pennsylvania – Whether your dreams include a fluid piaffe to passage transition or perfect conformation paired with a floaty trot, there’s no stage quite like Kingsview Partners Dressage at Devon (DAD) to make those dreams reality. As we celebrate the Golden Anniversary of DAD, we’re rolling out the Devon-blue carpet for both Breed Division and Performance Division competitors ready to be a part of the legacy and legends of Dressage at Devon.
Here’s why you should join the lineup at the iconic horseshow in Devon, Pennsylvania, Sept. 23–28:
1. The Spotlight Is Real
Olympians have ridden here. Future legends start here. And this fall, you could make your mark where it matters. The energy, the prestige, the international judges and the magic that is Devon all contribute to a venue where your best test is more than a score, it’s a moment.

2. Kick Off the Season with Power and Purpose
Kingsview Partners Dressage at Devon is the first North American World Cup qualifier of the season and the perfect launchpad for dressage competitors’ bigger goals. For Breed Division exhibitors, it’s a chance to shine in a national-level spotlight before the leaves even finish turning.
The Performance Division features four days of international and national-level dressage competition. There are World Cup qualifiers (CDI-W), CDI3* and CDI2* competitions, and classes for Children, Juniors, Young Riders and Adult Amateurs. Whatever your level, the Dixon Oval delivers.

During the three-day Breed Division, Individual Breed Classes featuring more than 20 breeds and the Pony Division consisting of 18 classes are followed by the fan-favorite Parade of Breeds showcasing the winners from all the breed classes. This show is a USDF Breeders Championship Series Qualifier and the East Coast Final, making it a must-attend for top breeders. Many breeders agree that DAD offers a unique environment for developing horses to gain experience in a smaller, contained venue with plenty of activity. The atmosphere has often been compared to a lively European show setting that is rare to find anywhere else in North America
And don’t forget the educational opportunities while you are there. From the 2025 Kingsview Partners Dressage at Devon Masterclass with Olympian Ingrid Klimke presented by Capital Square to presentations by top veterinarians, Lunch & Learns, and KWPN-NA, you’ll gain insights into training, tack, breeding and more.

3. That Devon Magic: Under the Lights, with a Crowd
From the in-gate butterflies to the roar of applause after your final salute, there’s no place like the Dixon Oval at night and the crowd contributes to the magical experience. The same spirit shines as spectators lean over the rails, eyeing the next superstar. Devon feels different because it is different.
4. Ribbons with Meaning in a Venue Where Legends are Made
With its historic charm and European-style facilities to the iconic Dixon Oval, DAD blends old-school prestige with top-tier competition. A win here turns heads. A top ribbon becomes a resume line. Whether it’s your first time or your fifteenth, Dressage at Devon makes every ride matter.
5. Meet Your People
From Olympians to amateurs, young horse trainers to breeders, Devon is where the sport comes together.
“The community built around this prestigious show is unmatched,” explained Lauren Chumley, who speaks from experience. She has competed in the most Performance Division classes in the history of Dressage at Devon (180), been a handler in 20 Breed Division classes, and an owner of a Performance Division class horse entry 48 times. Her KWPN stallion R Stetson was named Grand Champion of the 2024 Devon Breed Show. “Dressage at Devon is the place where you can meet new friends and celebrate the old, all in the pursuit of our single shared passion: the incredible horses that we are lucky enough have in our lives.”
Connections happen in the schooling ring, over coffee at the barns, during post-test debriefs by the rail and from the vantage point of a box seat. Many riders, horse owners and farms reserve these prime spots, creating a built-in, enthusiastic audience of insiders. Reserve your box seats at dressageatdevon.org/tickets. Remember, DAD is more than a show—it’s a place where you’re seen, supported and surrounded by your people.
