Submitted by Regine Brockway: This is Valentino JRB Star Sport-Elite AAA. I bred and raised him, had a wonderful trainer who trained and competed him for several years. For the last 6 years, he’s been my dance partner and helped me get my USDF Silver and Gold Medals.
He’ll be 20 this year and is retired from the dressage ring. Jessica Farren Photography
We recently asked our social media followers to share a photo of their favorite Friesian or Friesian cross, and tell us a little about them, for a chance to be featured on YourDressage, and we are so excited to share all the beautiful photos we received! Throughtout the month we will also be looking for stories from folks who love this breed. If you have a fairytalesque Friesian you’d like to share, send us an email at yourdressage@usdf.org.

He was the 2025 Breed Bonanza Winner at Equine Affaire in Columbus, OH this past year. He also enjoys representing FHANA and the Friesian breed at Equine Affaire. Kingsley absolutely adores kids and people and he loves to show others just how kind and beautiful this breed truly is. In our spare time we love to go on trail rides, enter in parades, and enjoy riding around the farm together. This breed is truly one of a kind and I am so thankful to own such a captivating , versatile , and kind horse. ♥️ Tracy Tabor Photo – Alexis M.
