Submitted by Nadege Labrecque: This is Prodigio MVL, who was imported from Monte Velho Equo-resort (Portugal) as an eight month old colt! He is an incredible stallion with an amazing temperament, and will be showing Third Level in Canada this summer. He will be in Florida again next winter with our amazing rider, Béatrice Boucher!! 😍

This month on YourDressage we are highlighting the Lavish Lusitano

We recently asked our social media followers to share a photo of their favorite Lusitano or Lusitano cross, and tell us a little about them, for a chance to be featured in an upcoming gallery or to share a story about their partnership with the YourDressage community.

Riders who choose a member of this handsome breed as their dressage mounts are eligible for special awards through the Adequan®/USDF All-Breeds Awards program, as the International Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Association and the US Lusitano Association Inc. are  participating organizations!

Here is my Lavish Lusitano, Icaro DC. After riding warmbloods my entire life, Icaro is my first experience with a Lusitano! I am now a huge fan of the breed! With the kind, willing, attitude and comfortable gaits for my aging body, I am so glad that I discovered this wonderful breed!!
