Survival Guide: Fly Season
The colder months may be gone, but now, the flies are here, and it’s our responsibility to be prepared to keep our horses comfortable.
For years I showed at least 6 competitions per year. I haven’t shown in 3 years, because I can’t justify the ever increasing expenses. I am, however still riding, schooling and enjoying my horses at home and at other less expensive activities.
I just started riding dressage and enjoy showing. I currently show 3-9 x per year at both schooling and recognized shows.
