Magazine editorial matters
How long have you been with USDF?
Except for a short hiatus in the early 2000s, I’ve been editing one USDF magazine or another since the late 1990s.
How did you get started?
I worked in the editorial department at a book publisher after college, then got a job editing a start-up all-breed/all-discipline equine monthly. From there, I got headhunted to join USDF’s previous official magazine. I’ve been a full-time freelancer since the late 1990s.
What is the favorite part of your job?
The opportunity to combine my professional skills with my love of horses and dressage.
What is your favorite part of USDF?
The emphasis on dressage education.
