What is your main task in the office?
Executive oversight of USDF programs, budget, staff, and to implement the business of the Executive Board.
How long have you been with USDF?
Going on 18 years
How did you get started?
I was hired in 2002 by a national search committee and relocated from Colorado. One of my first big projects was to relocate USDF from Lincoln, Nebraska to Lexington, KY and to build the current USDF National Education Center at the Kentucky Horse Park.
What is the favorite part of your job?
Creating new opportunities for USDF members.
What is your favorite part of USDF?
The passion of volunteers and members of USDF, and seeing members exercising that passion through the programs and opportunities USDF provides.
Share a little about yourself.
My wife and I have five horses at home on our ten-acre farm close to the Kentucky Horse Park, and three of the horses are 30 plus years old and happily retired.
It is my honor to serve USDF members in my capacity as Executive Director.
