Job title: Education Coordinator
What is your main task in the office?
I oversee all youth programs and help assist other programs within the Education Department.
Members may call you concerning:
Members can call me with questions regarding the FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC), youth programs and awards, and Junior/Young Rider clinic information.
How long have you been with USDF?
I have been working here for a little over three months.
How did you get started?
I previously had my own farm-sitting business, but decided to make the switch to an office job.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I love working with my coworkers and being involved with the youth programs.
What is your favorite part of USDF?
I love working at the Kentucky Horse Park and being so close to horses.
Share a little about yourself.
I am from West Virginia but have lived in Lexington since 2016. I graduated from University of Kentucky in 2020 with an Equine Science and Management degree. While at school, I discovered the world of dressage through UK’s Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) team. Currently, I am an adult amateur rider and own two horses. I ride several others and do lower-level dressage. In 2022, I hope to compete at my first recognized dressage show.
