The 2022 US Dressage Finals presented by Adequan® is right around the corner!  If you’re planning to join us in Kentucky this November for the competition, here are a few important reminders.

When & Where

The 2022 Finals are slated for November 10-13 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.

Opportunities for Youth

Last year, the US Dressage Finals added Junior/Young Rider classes at Training through Fourth Level, not including freestyles, for the first time.  The classes were well received, and we are looking forward to welcoming even more youth riders to the competition this year.  Read more about the addition of these classes, and what it means to Junior/Young Riders across the US, in this YourDressage exclusive story.

How Do I Qualify?

Curious about qualifying for the Finals?  The process of declaring, nominating, and entering the competition can be complicated, especially for first timers. USDF recently hosted a webinar demystifying this process called US Dressage Finals: Entries Explained.  A panel of experts from the dressage industry share their tips and advice.  You can watch this webinar on the homepage of the US Dressage Finals Website.

Declarations

The declaration deadline is midnight the day before the first day of the Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Championship a rider will be attending.

Nominations

Riders qualifying, whether by placing or earning a Wild Card score, in 2022 have 96 hours to nominate after the conclusion of their Regional Championship competition. (This nomination serves as the first step in the entry process.)

Entries

All riders must submit a completed entry by the closing date (in addition to the nomination process).   Entries open September 8, 2022, and close October 17, 2022.
