What connections does your product/mission/company have to the sport of dressage?
As one of the founding organizers of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) in 1973, Lowell Boomer saw the need to create an independent and separate organization from USDF that would financially support those who wanted to learn more about the growing sport. Therefore, Lowell founded The Dressage Foundation (TDF) in 1989 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The mission of TDF is “to cultivate and provide financial support for the advancement of dressage in the United States.”
What programs, events, etc do you partner with USDF?
TDF is proud to offer grants directly to USDF for the FEI Youth Clinic Series, the USDF/USEF Young Rider Graduate Program, and the USEF/USDF Dressage Judges’ Mini Clinics.
Additionally, TDF offers many grants directly to USDF GMOs and USDF members for dressage-related education, including attendance at USDF events.

The Dressage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, donor-driven organization that is dedicated to educating, supporting, and advancing the sport of dressage at all levels. Thanks to generous donor support, grants are available each year to dressage riders of all ages and levels, judges, instructors, breeders, high-performance teams, show managers, technical delegates, USDF Group Member Organizations, nonprofit equestrian organizations, and more.
TDF is also the home of the Century Club, which honors the senior riders and senior horses of our sport. To join, the ages of the horse and rider must add up to at least 100 years. It’s a truly inspirational group!
Why is sponsoring programs and events with USDF important to you?
TDF and USDF have a long history and it’s important to continue to work together for the betterment of the sport.
What is one thing you want USDF members to know (that they may not) about your products/services?
TDF has a big vision⎯that the generosity of many will allow the financial barriers of our sport to be removed, so that every aspect of U. S. dressage will grow and succeed locally, nationally, and internationally. It’s a big goal, but one that the TDF Board of Directors and staff is passionate about.
