Fall means Regional Championship time! The 2024 Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Dressage Championships are in full swing – check out the action from Regions 2and 3! A huge thanks to our sponsors Great American Insurance Group, SmartPak, Platinum Performance, and LeMieux! Here are some of the sights our social media followers shared with us from the competitions:
Region 2 – Kentucky Horse Park; Lexington, KY – September 12-15, 2024
Lots of emotions and happy tears after my 5yo self trained gelding performed the best test we ever have at both of our first USDF region 2 championships! He has had a long uphill road to the championships after being diagnosed with a serious neck condition earlier in the year which he has overcome remarkably
– Willow H.Hot Tin Roof earning a spot in the Region 2 1st level MFS awards after switching from hunters to dressage only four months prior! Tin was adopted from New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program
– Kara C.Quarter Note rocked it at Regionals winning both the AA second level championship and the AA second level MFS, and finishing 8th in the AA first level championship!! So proud of how far we have come in the last three years!
– Karen S.4th in the Open I-1 Region 2 Championships – Andi P.JB Downton Abbey competing in the AA 3rd level Champ class, Region 2.
– Tracy H.Region 2, 5th place in AA Equitation! Self trained Friesian cross. Our second year at regionals. – Ashley C.Region 2 training level champion jr/yr
– Liza G.Region 2, Alexia Pitzer and Richmond HL, FEI Young Rider Team Champions! After the excitement of qualifying for NAYC and then the heartbreak of having to withdraw due to Richmond being injured, dancing down centerline in the rain to become Regional champions was certainly a bright spot

Such a special boy and I was honored to share another Regionals with him. – Cedar P.-W.We came for the 4th level AA Champs but stayed for the smiles after our first ever Prix St Georges test, celebrating 10 years of partnership together ❤️

– Liz K.Ouzhou 6th Place Training Level AA Championships he’s a 5yr old KWPN and this was our 3rd show together. I haven’t shown or ridden much in 7yrs. I work 6 days a week and try to ride as much as I can but we are a new partnership and I didn’t get to ride at all the week leading up to the show. This was a dream of mine and I was able to accomplish it.
