First Glance HSR at the CDS State Championships & USDF Region 7 Championships. We have been showing for about 6 months and I was elated to win the USDF Region 7 Amateur Training Level Championship at the LA Equestrian Center. My favorite part was all the camaraderie between riders. It was so much fun!!

All coming together in GAIG jr/yr first level. – Marsha L.2019 Hanoverian gelding Relentless NLS – Region 9 Open Training Level Champion First year at regionals in a couple years after some personal challenges. Second time qualifying for finals. First time was 10 yrs ago on this horses uncle (Fabu Fling JJ). Also as a 5 yr old at Training Level. Relentless is wearing JJ’s old snaffle bridle. My favorite part though, is the community and camaraderie of Region 9. Its really wonderful to see how everyone supports everyone and despite the competitive nature, we’re all genuinely happy for everyone’s successes. – Lindsay C.I’m just flat out happy that I got to participate! Region 9 I2 Reserve Champions and Grand Prix Champions. All while going to vet school at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine!! – Barrett B.Saturday night dinner. Fun with friends in. Supportive community is what it is all about!
– Marsha L.We competed in the Southwest Dressage Championship Intro B Championship at Region 9. It took 2 1/2 years of hard work to get to this point and I am so proud of my 18yo Morgan gelding, KS Bluestem B All U Can B. We came away with SWDC Intro B Reserve Champion.
– Kayla M.PRE stallion Brillante los Arcos, Region 9 GAIG I-1 Open reserve champion. This has been a tough year personally for me. I’m just grateful to be able to compete and have students compete. The “horseshow hangover” felt good this year. 😌
– Katie M.Region 9 and my partner in crime All in One! Our fav part was Award ceremony of course! A lot of fun and not so much work😜 two ribbons, because his friend was placed too, and he did a lap for both 🥳🥳🥳 My Daughter was volunteering at the Championship as well and she liked treasure hunt so much! That was amazing time and lots of experience! – Galina L.Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle (picture from our freestyle!). I made my own freestyle and did it to music from Dirty Dancing, Grease, and Footloose to close out my horse’s final season of showing. “Fine and Smart” is a 20 year old Westfalen by Fürst Piccolo, and after many times trying to retire him, he just couldn’t do it, so here we are competing! Smartie has defied many odds physically with lameness and surgeries, but his heart is too big to quit❤️ happy retirement to “Smartie” and couldn’t have spent it with a better community than everyone in region 9!
