Thank you so much to United States Dressage Federation Official Page for having me come to the convention in Houston TX to speak on the Future of our Industry! I was on a panel with Reese Koffler-Stanfield and George Williams . It was really fun to share all the findings from my survey and help lead some discussions on where we want our sport to go in the future! – Eliza Sydnor Dressage
Good evening! The United States Dressage Federation Official Page convention has been fun, educational, and inspiring. My long-time buddy, Kate Ballard, joined me here so I could introduce her to the right people to spread the word about the exciting educational opportunities she will offer through her new saddlery school. Very exciting things in the works here! I especially enjoyed USEF Chief of Sport, David O’Connor’s presentation about the current social microscope we find our sport under and what it means for the future. He also shared that the new US Equestrian Open championship held in Thermal, CA at the end of 2025 is giving money to everyone who qualifies in the top 18, just for qualifying (or maybe participating)! Unfortunately, I Sat with my mouth hanging open too long to think to write it down (because when do we ever get paid to qualify?), so this number may be wrong, but I think he said 50k will be divided amongst the top 18 qualifiers! – Jennifer Truett
Had a great time at United States Dressage Federation Official Page Convention, catching up with old friends, making new ones, and learning and sharing about the issues facing our sport. Below is me with our re-elected USDF Region 2 Director Debby Savage – thank you Debby for taking this on again!! Here’s hoping everyone made, or is making, their way home safely and without delay! See you next year in Lexington! – Anna C.LVDA representing at the United States Dressage Federation Official Page 2024 Adequan/USDF Annual Convention!
