Job title: Senior Director of Operations
What is your main task in the office?
Oversee the daily operations of the organization including management of the Finance and Accounting Department, Administration, Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and Systems Administration, Adequan®/USDF Annual Convention, and the liaison to the USDF Audit Committee.
How long have you been with USDF?
I started in February 2002.
How did you get started?
I started with USDF when they were in Lincoln, NE, and worked there for three months to help move the organization to Lexington, KY.
What is the favorite part of your job?
Traveling to convention and interacting with the members.
What is your favorite part of USDF?
The professionalism of the organization, and the dedication of the members to the sport.
Share a little about yourself.
I grew up in the horse industry and have been involved in all facets of the Thoroughbred racing industry. I also have a retired racehorse that I bred, who is now enjoying a successful second career in eventing. I also have an extremely spoiled and social Shih Tzu named Sophie.
