Anything youth related – NAYC, Young Rider Graduate Program, Dressage Seat Medal Program, clinics, scholarships and grants, youth awards and recognition programs, etc.

How did you get started?
I started at USDF as the Education Department Assistant.
What is the favorite part of your job?
Since we have such a wide variety of youth programs, my job is very diverse and no two days are ever the same. I enjoy getting to see our youth members progress over the years and work toward achieving their goals.
What is your favorite part of USDF?
The office is at the Kentucky Horse Park, what could be better than that?! I also get to work with some pretty fantastic coworkers who have taught me a lot because they all come from different backgrounds with knowledge in different parts of the equine industry.
Share a little about yourself.
I grew up in Maryland and began my riding career in Pony Club as an eventer. I used to have family in Kentucky, so I had visited the state many times when I was younger, and I knew eventually I would make it my home. I moved to Kentucky for college and graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Equine Business Administration and a minor in Entrepreneurship. While at school, I transitioned from eventing to riding on our university’s IHSA hunt seat and western teams where I had the opportunity to compete at IHSA Nationals two years in a row. After interning at a couple equine businesses – The Equiery Magazine and Mythic Landing Enterprises – I decided I wanted to work in the horse industry full time after college, and I have been at USDF ever since!
