Department: Member Services
Job Title: Senior Horse Registration Coordinator
What is your main task in the office?
Anything involved with horses registered or to be registered with USDF and assisting our members.
Members may call you concerning:
Horse registrations, horse transfers, lease recordings, breed registry papers, and memberships.
How long have you been with USDF?
I started in March 2017, so I’m working on my seventh year!
How did you get started?
My previous employment was as an executive assistant, and I had owned a hobby farm raising and training Quarter horses. The position at USDF combined both my administrative skills and passion for horses.
What is your favorite part of your job?
It sounds hokey, but I really enjoy the customer service aspect of my job, as well as the fast pace. I love representing USDF and problem-solving for our members so that they can have a good experience with USDF and are ready to compete. Our members are great to work with.
What is your favorite part of USDF?
The management at USDF really supports the staff. I am very proud of my co-workers in the Member Services Department and love working with them. It is also great getting to work at the Kentucky Horse Park!
