We are celebrating the Marvelous Morgan as our April Breed of the Month on YourDressage! We recently asked our social media followers to share a photo of their favorite Morgan or Morgan cross, and tell us a little about them, for a chance to be featured on YourDressage! Throughout the month of April, we will also be sharing stories from folks who love this breed.
Dressage riders who choose a member of this versatile breed as their mounts are eligible for special awards through the Adequan®/USDF All-Breeds Awards program, as the American Morgan Horse Association is a participating organization!

– Kelly P.KTM Eclipse the Wind is a Morgan stallion that has proven his metal in many disciplines. Since right after Covid he has been a very active competitor in Working Equitation both for his owner Adrienne Dymesich and as a youth competitor. He is entering L3 this year and has done very well in L2 taking 1st and 2nd in zones for his riders and showing particular skill in his cattle work. Eclipse is an active ranch horse working cattle at home and is furthering his career in Endurance riding this year in 50-mile races. With his rider Adrienne he does mounted archery. jumping, historical representations, skijoring, speed events, parades, garrocha demonstrations, liberty, extreme mountain trail, mounted shooting, and the Top Hand Cowgirl Challenge every year. Eclipse is quick to catch onto new sports and is very ratable, collected, and handy enabling him to take on whatever is asked of him. – Adrienne D.
