I’ve had my 6 year old Trakehner Drogon since he was 7 months old! I bought him from his breeder right after his birth. It’s been such a journey raising my first young horse and then starting him under saddle. It was quite tough at times as he hurt himself as a yearling and have had a few bumps in the road along the way. But he and I did our first year of USDF shows last year and finished 4th at the Region 3 Champs for AA Training level. He is a once in a lifetime horse and I am loving our journey together! – Amanda M.

My gelding, Sorrento, TK/TB. He is my heart horse! He retired from jumping this year. I owe this horse everything. I have him to thank for helping me be the rider I am today and helping me learn my love and passion for eventing. We have evented as a partnership for 8 years, truly breaks my heart having to retire him. His mind and heart are in eventing and he would go forever if he could, unfortunately his joints said, “no more”. He has truly made me fall in love with the Trakehner breed! – Rachel R.

Chloe Halimeda out of Catch the Bouquet by Halimey Go was our second Trakehner. My husband and I got into Trakehner’s about 10 years ago when we choose a Trakhener stallion to breed our TB mare to produce an event horse. We had no idea that it would completely change our lives and Trakehners would become such a huge part of who we are. Chloe was the second Trakehner we bred and the moment I sat on her I knew she was made for me and everything I wanted. We now own 8 Trakehners and breed them for dressage and eventing. We are so thankful to have them in our lives. – Ashley B.
