American Horse Publications (AHP) recently hosted its annual conference in Tempe, AZ. Go behind the scenes with USDF’s Senior Marketing Coordinator, Chelsey Burris, on her trip to the desert.

We’re not in Kentucky anymore. Palm trees and cactuses greeted attendees at the host hotel.

The conference was filled with wonderful educational events, featuring leading experts from across the world of equine media.

USDF was well represented in the media room.

*USDF Connection* editor, Jennifer Bryant, moderating the Best Business Practices for Freelancers session at the conference. The session addressed accounting, stress and burnout, time management, work life balance, and more for freelance writers and photographers.

Saturday night’s Equine Media Awards was a can’t miss event. USDF was proud to bring home a variety of awards for its magazine, USDF Connection, as well as its publications website, YourDressage.org.
