Working with numbers, research, and audit of accounts
What is your favorite part of USDF?
Having an opportunity to learn how horses react to humans in a relationship of respect and understanding by both the horse and the trainer/rider. Working at the Kentucky Horse Park and seeing these wonderful creatures wandering in the fields daily is a definite perk to any job. I hope to have a long career with USDF.
Share a little about yourself.
I am a Kentucky native; my husband and I have lived in Lexington for 21 years. We have a son and a granddaughter, but of course our dog and cat run the house, spoiled beyond belief. I grew up in the country, on a family farm with many animals including horses, one of which was an adopted Mustang from the Federal Wildlife Federation. That was my special horse –, he had a unique personality and could put a smile on your face just watching him. With my childhood upbringing, I continue to have a love of the country, and hope that someday I can live on a farm again with a few animals.
